Botanical Gold is a brand that sells edible garnishes made from dried flowers and gold flakes. For the first 6 months working with this brand, we built a presence through seasonal content shoots. This season, we decided to try a different approach, leveraging their social presence and versatility of use. It ended up being a more cost effective approach for this client to invest in influencer collaborative content creation. We contacted a significant amount of influencers and industry relevant accounts and sent out free samples, in exchange for user generated photographic content. We got some amazing content in return as well as lots of new customers and stockists who genuinely loved the product. A user generated content campaign isn’t just about content, it builds social proofing and creates brand advocates.
